Jungkook, a member of the K-pop boy band BTS, has won two honors at this year's Billboard Music Awards.

At the awards ceremony on Dec. 12 in the U.S., Jungkook earned Top K-pop Album for his debut studio work "Golden," which was released in November last year, and Top Global K-pop Song for the title track "Standing Next to You."

He thus won Top Global K-pop Song for the second straight year after earning it for "Seven" last year.

Jungkook could not attend the ceremony as he was serving his mandatory military service that began in December last year.

In addition, Stray Kids clinched Top Global K-pop Artist and SEVENTEEN Top K-Pop Touring Artist.
